I got no answer on IRC, and the mailing list is private, so I can't look at it for reference, so I'm posting here. Sorry if this is the wrong way to handle this, but I can't find anything in the FAQ or Wiki about how to discuss examples like this.
Here's an image spam that always decodes to gibberish, even after converting to a 3-color pnm and using "gocr -l 180 -d 2". I'm hoping that by posting here and figuring out how to thwart it, FuzzyOcr? can be improved. After all, if thwarting FuzzyOcr? is as simple as sending image spam that looks like this...
BTW, why is the mailing list private? Is that to stop spammers from reading it? Isn't that basically the same as "security by obscurity"?
