After evaluation by quite some people, the SVN version that works with SpamAssassin 3.2.x (included in some distributions already), was tagged as version 3.6.0 and released as testing.
FuzzyOcr is entirely distributed under the Apache License, Version 2.0.
The license file can be found at http://www.apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0.

SVN
The latest SVN version can be obtain from the new SVN repository at https://svn.own-hero.net/fuzzyocr/trunk/devel/. (You can also browse the subversion repository at /trunk/devel.) Note that for SVN means work in progress, so don't think you can check this out and get a working version always :)
The last SVN revision known to work is currently: 137
